Be a farmer for one day (Coffee farm experience)

Be a farmer for one day (Coffee farm experience)

star-5

Join us on our Coffee Farm experience as we set out from the center of the city and head an hour and a half deeper into the mountains of Bogotá! We will start the day by enjoying a traditional Colombian breakfast together and then go to meet our local farmers. We will discuss what it means to be an organic coffee farm and what the daily tasks of a farmer look like. We will walk around the farm and take in the more than 8,000 coffee plants. We’ll learn how to hand-pick coffee and process it, and then afterwards we will enjoy a delicious cup of coffee prepared in a unique way. If the weather and season permits we will even get to plant our own coffee! We wrap up the tour with local cuisine for lunch and began the trip back to the city, making brief stops to take pictures of the Paramos ecosystems and the picturesque Bogotá city skyline. Total duration: 7-8 hours.

Graffiti Tour in La Candelaria Bogotá + Private Transport Included

Graffiti Tour in La Candelaria Bogotá + Private Transport Included

star-5

Bogotá has become a world reference in graffiti. It boasts impressive murals and street art that place it above cities like Miami, Amsterdam, Río, and México City. Its rise as one of the key city-canvases in Latin America has made it an attractive destination for the curious tourist and the bold artist. Would you have guessed? As with graffiti everywhere else, Bogotá’s history with the art has often been tense. But great art can overcome negative labels. Right now, no one would call it vandalism. It has struggled but has earned its place and the city is better for it. The mixture of social and political commentary with a twist of local and foreign styles make Bogotá’s graffiti truly a sight to behold. Join us in this tour not only of Colombia’s history as told by art but a tour of Bogotá as a curated museum of amazing artists!

Bogota • Private City Tour
"The tour was on my first day of my first solo visit to Bogota , for a 4- day stay . I wanted to get an overview of the city and its main must-see highlights, so that on the subsequent days I can re-visit the ones that for my perspective require more time . The program of the tour fulfilled that objective . Supported by an excellent, experienced, and extremely helpful guide who did everything she can to make it a great experience for me . And she succeeded . My only suggestion would be to try to obtain the funicular tickets in advance ( online ? ) if at all possible, to avoid the long waiting time in the queue , especially on a weekend ."..."

My guide was informative, knowledgeable and knew sooo much not only about the chorrera and chiflon but about all other towns in colombia and what you can and cannot do. They picked me up on time the driver Jorge is very professional and an overall great driver. I loved that Doriel did not try to rush me and whenever I had questions he will stop and answer me. Honestly the trip was supposed to be 6hrs but took 7hrs because we were going at a much slower pace. Doriel understood this was my first time gave me tips on how to step on the road and what to watch out for. Please bring an extra pair of clothes, 2bottles of water and money in cash because there is this cute little Cuban restaurant after you come down from the chiflon that serves the best ropa vieja, I felt so bad I did not have cash on me because I left it in the car. P.s. if you don’t find what you looking for in viator or TripAdvisor ask Doriel they respond to WhatsApp messages and are very attentive to your well being. Will be returning next year!!"..."
