How to Get There
The Church of St. Anne is located north of the Temple Mount just inside the St. Stephen’s Gate (also known as the Lions’ Gate) entrance to the Old City of Jerusalem. You can avoid navigating the Old City’s hectic streets on your own by visiting the church on a guided walking tour.
When to Get There
The church is open Monday through Saturday from 8am to 12pm and 2pm to 5pm and closed on Sundays. Visit in the morning to join the Catholic masses held in the church or hear the church’s choir. If you do not arrive to hear the chorus of the official choir, you are likely to hear the singing of other visitors.
