Train up Skyrail down

Hard to separate the train ride up from the skyrail down, but the story on the construction of the railway was impressive. The quaint town of Kuranda was also a highlight with the many market stalls to wander around.

The train & skyrail we’re both good but the feat of building both is amazing. To spend a day enjoying Kuranda visiting the bird & butterfly farms was enjoyable.

Was a fantastic experience. The train ride up to Kuranda was great. The old train carriages looked grand. The scenery spectacular. Kuranda itself is a pretty little town. The markets were great. Perfect couple of hours just relaxing and wandering about. Skyrail coming back was just as nice. Over the forest canopy and the scene coming back the final part, looking out over the bay was great

Learning from a fellow passenger that we had paid $80 more by booking with Viator. Bad news which ruined the whole trip.
