our first try for hot ballon, everything is great(weather, fly experience). we expected the breakfast but didn't come up.

Really memorable experience. Once we got up in the air it was breathtaking. Our pilot was highly skilled and was able to navigate into valleys and back up to give us some terrific shots of the landscape. Landing was perfect as well. Some things that could be improved would be making sure the pickup van doesn't reek of cigarettes. When the windows don't open it can really stink. It would be good to air those things out or prohibit the drivers from smoking inside. Another thing was that our Viator notification said one company name and when the guys were at our hotel looking for pickups we asked the guy who turned out to be our driver if he was picking up for the company name on our tickets and he said no . Then he called us two minutes later while we were standing right beside him not a big deal but just disorganized The other not great thing was that we launched after sunrise. Our captain said it was due to wind but that was hard to buy when we'd already seen dozens of balloons taking off for 45 minutes while we waited for ours to be set up. We didn't mind too much but there were some people on the tour that really wanted to be up in the air for the sunrise. Overall, it was a good time and I'd recommend.

It was snow on the ground from the day before which made it more beautiful view from the air. I would love to visit again and experience it in the summer!

Major kudos to this tour operator. Since this was the cheapest price that I could find for the balloon ride, I was expecting to have a medeocre experience. I was majorly surprised when it turned out to be fantastic. They picked us up about an hour and a half before sunrise. Once all other passengers were picked up we proceeded to the launch field. We watched them inflate the balloon with a fan and then heat the internal air to lift the basket into a standing position. The basket was divided into passenger sections with about 5 people in each section. The balloon slowly roates throughout flight so it doesn't matter which section you get into. The last passengers to board each section will likely have the best position. Our balloon operator was TOP NOTCH! He was lively, engaging, and provided info about the landscape that we were seeing. Most importantly, he knew how to make his passengers happy. I saw perahps 100 balloons in the air that morning, and I honestly belive that we got the best ride. Before the sun peaks over the horizon we hovered a few hundred feet over the terrain as the pilot explained what we were seeing. Then the pilot took us down into a canyon where we hid hovered between the canyon walls perhaps 50 feet over the ground as the time for the sunrise drew near. Then we slowly ascended out of the canyon, up and up until the sun emerged over the horizon. We were excellently poised above the majority of the other balloons that were arranged between us and the sunrise. This was perfect because it made for the some best pictures that I have ever taken.Spectacular to see the beams of sunlight around the balloons. After sunrise we were taken up to an altitude of 8,000 feet, higher than I saw any other balloon go. Then we returned out 1,000 feet above the ground and floated until we reached our landing zone.
