Overview

Hike through Tenorio Volcano National Park's remarkable landscape and see the otherworldly blue of the Rio Celeste waterfall on a full-day trip from La Fortuna. Follow your guide on a 4.3-mile (7-km) trail into the forest, watch for the monkeys and birds as you stroll past a serene lagoon, and take in views of the imposing Tenorio Volcano. The tour experience was amazing overall. Gabriel was such a great tour guid and kept us laughing the whole time, he was very knowledgeable about everything from the animals, to how the water gets its vibrant blue color. The lunch was was very delicious as well! Definitely recommend!

We went on the trip in a very rainy day. Therefore, we rented the rubber boots $4/each and got the poncho $2/each. Due to the rain,and the fig, we did not see the volcano at the view point and the water did not turn the beautiful color as we ve seen on the pictures However, the hike was still fun
